The whole experience wasn’t great because of the consultant. It felt like they barely listened to what I was saying, and every week I left feeling kind of judged instead of supported. The way things were handled just seemed careless, like they were going through the motions without really paying attention to me or my situation.

"Felt misled when the weight came right back"
I lost a little weight at first, so I thought it was working. But quickly after, the weight came right back, which was really frustrating. I feel kind of misled because it seemed like this was supposed to help more long-term, not just give me temporary results

"Trying to manage my account has been..."
Trying to manage my account has been such a hassle. I kept getting sent around in circles on the site, and I couldn’t find a straightforward way to change anything or cancel what I needed to.
Support took forever to get back to me, and when they did, it felt like a copy-paste response that didn’t really help. For a service that charges every month, the account page should be way easier to use. Has anyone else run into the same issue?

This just felt kind of misleading to me. Uh, I don’t think I’d feel comfortable trusting this brand again after this experience.

It felt too expensive for what you actually get. I kept waiting for it to feel worth the money, but it just didn’t for me. On top of that, the next steps weren’t very clear, so I was kind of left wondering what I was supposed to do after getting started.

I tried to cancel my subscription it was such a hassle. I kept getting bounced around to different pages and never felt like I was actually getting anywhere. Then I got charged again anyway, which was really frustrating. Stopping a subscription should be simple, not harder than...

"Not the warmest group, but organized enough"
I’ll give them credit, the group seemed put together and like they knew what they were doing. That said, I didn’t feel very welcomed and felt a bit judged while I was there. Maybe it works better if you already fit their vibe, but for me it wasn’t the most comfortable experience.

I’m getting frustrated with how unreliable the website has been. Pages take forever to load, my login fails often, and it even kicked me out while I was trying to track my food. I’m wondering if other people are dealing with the same thing, because it’s really annoying when you just want to use it and move on.

I signed up thinking it would give me that extra push, but I don’t know, it kind of had the opposite effect. I ended up feeling more judged than encouraged, which wasn’t what I expected. And the meetings started to feel really repetitive after a while. Some weeks I’d go in hoping it would click, then I’d leave feeling flat. Maybe it works for other people, but for me, it just didn’t help at all.

I gave the online membership a try, but i just didn’t really get on with it. Maybe it’s just me, but the app and site felt a bit clunky, and logging everything started to feel more like a chore than helpful. I also didn’t feel like there was much support unless I actively went searching for it, which kind of defeated the point for me. For the price, I expected it to feel easier and more motivating. I ended up cancelling after a little while. I can see how it might work for some people, but it just wasn’t the right fit for me.

"This app is really frustrating to use"
I have been trying to use this app to log my food, but it keeps freezing on me. The search is useless most of the time, and it signs me out constantly. It is just a hassle when all I want to do is track my meals quickly.

I was in a relaxed mood when I tried it out, and I did like that it gave me some flexibility. That said, parts of it still felt a bit strict, so it wasn’t always as easygoing as I expected

I don’t know why, but the recipes I tried just didn’t really come together for me. A few ended up tasting bland, and some were kind of watery too. The portion sizes also felt a little off, which made it more frustrating. Overall, it just wasn’t worth the hassle for me...

"Felt really uncomfortable at the meeting"
I went to a local meeting hoping it would be supportive, but I felt judged the whole time. The consultant seemed to rush everyone along and there wasn’t much actual help or encouragement. Then it suddenly felt like, okay wow, this is just about selling books. I left feeling embarrassed and I definitely won’t be going back.

"Got bored fast, and it felt like too much hassle"
I got tired of the food options quickly. A lot of the meals felt like the same thing with tiny changes, and since I’m a little picky, it didn’t take long before I was scrolling around trying to find something I actually wanted.
I also didn’t love how many steps it felt like I had to go through just to pick meals I wasn’t even excited about. I expected more variety for different tastes, but mostly ended up with choices I didn’t really fancy. Just wasn’t worth it for me

"Made me more stressed about food"
I really wanted this to help me feel better, but it ended up doing the opposite. All the weighing and the whole “good food vs bad food” mindset got in my head way more than I expected. I started feeling guilty about totally normal meals and just felt more anxious, not healthier. Also, it was weirdly unclear who actually owns or runs the program, which made it harder to trust or know who to reach out to when I had concerns. Definitely not for me, and I wish I had stopped sooner

"Good for ideas, but not a miracle fix"
In the end, I’d say Slimming World did help me, but it wasn’t amazing or life-changing. I lost about half a stone over a couple of months, so if you stick with it, it can definitely work. For me, though, the progress felt slow, and it was easy to fall back into old habits when life got busy. The website was fine and gave me some decent meal ideas, but I didn’t always find it that useful. Overall, it’s a helpful plan, just not a magic fix
